About Hossein

Dr. Naraghi is a senior research engineer at the Institute for Transportation’s Center for Transportation Research and Education. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in transportation engineering and construction management. He conducts research on various safety-related projects on the safety and operational impacts of drivers, roadways, and environmental characteristics. He also conducts research in the areas of road maintenance and operations. Dr. Naraghi also manages the Iowa Traffic Safety Data Services (ITSDS) program, which responds to crash data requests coming from various agencies. ITSDS supplements and facilitates crash data accessibility and data integration by providing agencies, organizations, and individuals with crash data expertise and resources.
